Through our Social Responsibility Projects at MKA Turkish School, we aim to enhance social awareness and strengthen the spirit of mutual aid and solidarity among our children and youth growing up in the United States. We place great importance on nurturing our students not only academically and culturally, but also as empathetic individuals who contribute meaningfully to their community and heritage.
As part of our projects, students organize events that promote the Turkish language and culture, mentor younger age groups through story and book reading sessions, and take an active role in environmental and charitable initiatives. These activities enable our children to develop crucial social skills, including empathy, leadership, teamwork, and project management.
By participating in national holiday celebrations, community center events, and intercultural exchange platforms, our youth proudly represent their Turkish identity within American society. Inspired by the principle of social solidarity emphasized by our Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, our mission is to raise compassionate generations who inspire their surroundings and add value to the future.
